PractiScore 2.0 getting close to release (with PCSL module)

Copied from Ken Nelson’s facebook post on December 19, 2023:

We've been steadily working on PractiScore 2.0, a complete re-write, over the last 1.5 years. We are now finishing regression testing where we compare answers it gives with answers PractiScore now gives for the hundreds of thousands of matches on PractiScore.com (exactly the same answer down to the .0001). That list is down to 300 matches we are working thru (of a sport that's had rule changes). And we are now thinking about a roll out to very select beta test clubs.

2.0 is synch comparable from old PS, but not to old PS. It has a common interface, and one code base, for both iOS and Android (and Windows or web if we choose).

I'm posting here because I'd like to have clubs interested in acting as beta testers contact DJ Petrou to arrange for test access.

We are looking for 2 from USPSA, IDPA and 1 from any other sport that we support. PCSL, Max Leograndis is already going to be testing, so gtg there.

Beta test clubs should be willing to update regularly and use it multiple times a month. They need not use it exclusively, PS 1.0 will be not be overwritten on your devices. If your club is interested, or if you are particularly good at breaking software as a human tester, then let DJ know.

We expect to start this after the new year, when Eugene Kuleshov - Competitor and app developer finishes the regression testing and some changes for PCSL.

I'd like to thank him for his hard work on this. It's been a chore doing this and keeping regular PS going.
